Ms. J. Erdenechimeg, Head of Chemical Laboratory at “Achit-Ikht” LLC’s Copper Cathode Plant based in Erdenet was selected as the Top 3 in catagory of ‘Best Female Engineer, Technical Specialist” nomination at the Outstanding Women in Mining 2023 Awards organized jointly by the ‘Women in Mining and Resources Mongolia’ and ‘Women's Association of Mineral Resources’.
In terms females in leadership roles, 36% of the Executive Management team at "Achit-Ikht" LLC are women and as such in 2021 we won the nomination for “Gender Diversity Champion” of the mining sector.
This year Oyu Tolgoi LLC was awarded this esteemed award.
