- From 1978 to 2004, Erdenet Mining Corporation dumped low-grade mixed ore that was not suitable for its flotation process resulting in the dump No.2.
- “Achit-Ikht” LLC entered into a Cooperation Agreement with Erdenet Mining Corporation in 2010 to build a Plant using low-grade mixed ore of dump No.2.
- During the construction of the Plant, the Feasibility Study was developed 4 times and in 2014 the Feasibility Study was approved by the Mineral Resources Professional Council.
